Before you set off for St. James’ Park, make sure your phone is charged - you’ll need it to get through the turnstiles.
Have your digital pass ready as you arrive.
Your ticket will be stored in Apple Wallet or under ‘Passes’ in Google Wallet.
If you’re using Android, you may need to switch on NFC. Google Wallet will prompt you if it’s turned off.
If your phone doesn’t support NFC, tap ‘Show Code’ in Google Wallet and use the QR code instead.
When you're at the turnstile:
- Hold your phone over the contactless reader on top of the turnstile.
- On Apple devices, the NFC chip is at the top of your phone.
- On Android devices, the chip is usually central - but every model is different, so note where yours reads for next time.
If your ticket is valid, the light will turn green and you can head inside. Other colours may show depending on your ticket type.
If the light turns red or the gate doesn’t open, just let the nearest steward know - they’ll point you straight to the Box Office for help.
