Once the entry window closes, we sort everyone who’s applied into the relevant priority groups. After that, each supporter in those groups is given a place in the queue at random - no favourites, no first come first served.
The groups then follow on from one another in order, so your final position is based on both your priority group and the randomised number you’re assigned within it.
It’s fair, it’s clear, and it gives everyone in each priority group the same chance.
