Unethical secondary ticketing is where tickets are purchased at face value and then resold at inflated prices through a platform or method that has not been approved by the artist.
Unauthorised resellers may use:
- Multiple payment cards
- False identities
- Duplicate accounts
- Automated software or “bots”
This can reduce the number of face-value tickets available to genuine customers.
Only use an official face-value resale platform approved by the ticket provider you originally purchased from.
